Returning from an Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury Cassidy will be hoping to make a splash when the season gets under way. The centre court player is lightning quick, uses the ball well and has good placement into the circle allowing Aiken and Bueta to put up plenty of shots. She is strong on the drive and consistently does the defensive things well, working hard to pick up the loose ball.
At 173cm the midcourter darts across the court and uses her slight stature to evade defenders. Her second efforts and commitment to the contest makes her an integral member in the Firebirds midcourt group. The 24-year-old is entering her fifth season with the club and will be hoping to once again showcase her on-court grit and determination to guide the Firebirds to more success in 2020.
