Pulse captain and Silver Ferns defender Katrina Rore has simply gotten better with age. Coming off the trifecta in netball with a World Cup gold, ANZ Premiership with the Pulse and Suncorp Super Netball Premiership with the NSW Swifts, Rore is riding high. Her defensive prowess to hunt the ball at full flight and take screaming intercepts is second to none. She is a constant threat across the court with her ability to drive through court and use her long arms to block vision. Able to swing between in-circle defence and wing defence Rore has established herself a real marquee player. Renowned for her long reach and pressure over the shot, along with her agility Rore is a real excitement machine and barometer for the Pulse. She constantly stands up under the pressure and more importantly has proven she can do the unthinkable time and time again.
