Recovering from a serious knee injury back in 2018 that completely wiped out her 2019 ANZ Premiership year, Gray opted to make the switch from Southern Steel up to the Mystics in 2020. She will be hoping for more luck in 2020 after taking to the court for the first time in two years, and while she is a natural defender, has worked on her midcourt ability as well. While likely to be eased into it, the 24-year-old provides good experience and resilience for younger teammates.
